Hello, my name is Karl Wurm. I'm originally from Rochester Hills, Michigan where I grew up snowboarding the local hills and enjoying the Detroit music scene. From 1999-2001, I attended Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, Michigan, graduating with an Associate Degree of Applied Technology in Ski Area Management. I continued my education at Northern Michigan University from 2001-2003, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ski Area Business Management. In 2003, almost immediatley after walking accross the stage to accept my diploma, I packed up my Volkswagen Jetta and drove to my new home in Vail, Colorado. I lived and worked in Vail from 2003-2011, loving every minute of it. In the spring of 2011, after many years working in the snowboard industry and enjoying living in the mountains surrounding Vail, I made the decision to take my life in a more career driven direction and moved to Denver, Colorado. I'm currently working in the action sports industry with an amazing team and enjoying everything my new home has to offer.
